Phyllis Jean Goodwin, 91, of Robinson, IL, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was born on November 10, 1932, at home in Robinson, the daughter of Ancile & Ruby (Wilson) Wieman. When she was five, they moved to the farm just south of Marathon, and there she helped her parents with their milk, cattle, chicken, fruit, and vegetable routes. She also worked at the Index, General Telephone Company, a tax office in the summer, and worked in hand packing at L.S. Heath in the fall. She graduated from Robinson High School in 1950.
On September 20, 1952, she married Hal Keith Goodwin at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, where she attended most of her life. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #69 Auxiliary, Elks Auxiliary, and the Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She held offices in all of these clubs. She belonged to the Crawford County Home Extension, lent a helping hand with Habitat for Humanity, and was active with the Robinson Area Food Pantry. A member of the R
