Phoenix , Ariz. - Larry Lee Stephens, 89, formerly of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in Phoenix, AZ. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Imogene Cox Stephens of Phoenix, AZ.The surviving immediate family include two children: Rene (Mick) Del Greco of League City, TX, and Alan (Carrie) Stephens of Phoenix, AZ. Two grandchildren: Taylor (Jordan) Swenson of Flagstaff, AZ and Bryan (Nicole) Stephens of Phoenix, AZ, and great grandchild: Joseph Stephens of Phoenix, AZ.Larry graduated from Hutsonville High School, served in the US Army, and retired after 32 years from Howmet Corporation in LaPorte, IN, where he worked as plant manager. Larry enjoyed vegetable gardening, worldwide traveling, computer technology, and generously loved his family.In 1935, Larry was born to Denzil Stephens and Ruth Elliott Stephens in Crawford County, IL.
